HEAT keeps as little as it can. No ads, no tracking, no selling of data.

Public by nature

Your wallet address and your transactions are public on the Flare blockchain. Anyone can see them, with or without HEAT. HEAT cannot change or delete anything on chain.

What HEAT stores

Only once you sign in: your wallet address, the name, bio and photo you choose, who you follow, your theses and likes, your crew, and your PnL and wallet value worked out from public on-chain data. Photos are re-encoded on upload, so camera and location data inside them is removed. For sign-in, HEAT keeps only a scrambled copy (a hash) of your session code, never the code itself.

Cookies and your browser

HEAT uses one sign-in cookie and a short-lived cookie during sign-in. Nothing else, and no tracking cookies. Your watchlist, recent searches and alert settings are kept in your own browser and never sent to HEAT.

Technical logs

Like any website, the servers and hosting behind HEAT record technical request data (such as IP address and time) to keep the service secure and stop abuse. It is kept for a short time and used for nothing else.

Other services

The website is hosted by Vercel; HEAT's own server (api.heatapp.xyz) keeps the profiles and serves the profile photos. Token images load from felynx.xyz. HEAT's servers fetch market data from GeckoTerminal, CoinGecko and the Flare explorer; your browser does not contact them for that. To read your balances and send your trades, your browser talks to Flare's public network address (flare-api.flare.network); your wallet may use its own as well. If you connect with WalletConnect, its relay (run by Reown) carries the messages between HEAT and your phone wallet. HEAT does not share or sell your data to anyone.

Your choices

You can change your name, bio and photo at any time under Edit profile, remove your photo, unfollow anyone and delete your theses. You can delete your HEAT profile in Edit profile: your name, bio, photo, follows, theses, likes and crew membership are then removed from HEAT. Your on-chain trades stay on Flare, as they always do.
