The short answers. Trade on HEAT, be seen on HEAT.
How do I join?
Connect your wallet, sign the sign-in message (free, not a transaction) and pick a name. That is it: your trades on HEAT now show on the feed and on the leaderboard.
Which wallets work?
Browser wallets such as Rabby and MetaMask on desktop, and the in-app browser of mobile wallets such as Bifrost.
My wallet is on another network
HEAT trades on Flare only. Press "Switch to Flare" at the top or in the trade panel. HEAT never sends a trade while your wallet is on another network.
What does a trade cost?
0.25% of the trade goes to HEAT, plus the network gas and the pool fees of the route. Everything is shown before you sign. Approvals are for the exact amount of each trade, never unlimited.
Why is my trade not on the feed?
Only trades made on HEAT by people with a name show up, a few seconds after they confirm. Trades made on other apps do not count on HEAT.
How is PnL worked out?
From your trades on HEAT only, at average cost, after fees, at today's prices. What you bought on HEAT counts until you sell it on HEAT, even if you move it to another wallet. Tokens you bought elsewhere are not counted. A trade never shows a profit by itself: a buy counts at the higher of what you paid and what you got, a sell at the lower. Tokens count at what selling them through their pool would bring back, so in a small pool a position is worth less than its size times the price, and buying into a thin pool cannot lift your own PnL.
What is a thesis?
A short post about a token you traded on HEAT, shown with your position in it. To post one, trade that token on HEAT first.
What are Crews?
Groups of traders. Each member trades on their own and the crew ranks on the members' combined PnL. One crew per person.
Is HEAT safe?
HEAT never holds your funds or keys; you sign every step in your own wallet. Trades go through HeatSwap, a fixed contract with no owner keys and a fixed 0.25% fee, published on the Flare explorer. Crypto is still risky: read the terms.
